There’s always something new to learn when you’re preparing for a baby or navigating the early stages of parenthood. Even with plenty of advice available online, sometimes it helps to have a place where you can ask questions, learn practical skills, and connect with people who understand this season of life.
This fall, Women’s Life Center is offering two 8-week Parenting Education Classes for parents and expecting parents in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
Our fall 2026 classes include a virtual Infant Care Class and an in-person Moms Supporting Moms Through Parenting class in Oak Island, NC. Both are designed to provide practical information, encouragement, and support as you prepare for pregnancy, birth, infant care, and early parenthood.
If you live in Shallotte, Oak Island, Southport, Supply, Bolivia, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach, Calabash, or another Brunswick County community, we’d love to have you join us.
Infant Care Class: Virtual Parenting Education
Our 8-week Infant Care Class offers a convenient virtual option for parents and expecting parents who want to learn from home.

Location: Virtual
Because this parenting education class is offered virtually, families throughout Brunswick County and surrounding southeastern North Carolina communities can participate without traveling to an in-person location.
The class provides an opportunity to learn more about caring for an infant while building confidence as you prepare for the early stages of parenthood. It’s also a welcoming place to ask questions and gain practical information that can help you feel more prepared for what’s ahead.
Moms Supporting Moms Through Parenting in Oak Island, NC
For moms who prefer an in-person setting, Women’s Life Center is also offering Moms Supporting Moms Through Parenting in Oak Island.

Parenting education is just one of the free support services available through Women’s Life Center.
Located at 4741 Main Street in Shallotte, Women’s Life Center serves women and families throughout Brunswick County and surrounding southeastern North Carolina communities.
Our services include free pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasound services by appointment, pregnancy options education, client advocacy, parenting education and mentorship, material assistance, community referrals, and ongoing support.
